Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce made big news on July 3 with their wedding at Madison Square Garden. They donated $26 million to charities across the country. The donations were made hours before they exchanged wedding vows.

Taylor's representative confirmed the donation to People Magazine on the day before the ceremony and provided the names of the beneficiaries.

"The 14-time Grammy winner and Kelce made a staggering $26 million donation to various organizations this week," Swift's rep told PEOPLE on July 2, 2026.

According to People Magazine, the couple donated to City Harvest, Food Bank for New York City, New York Cares, Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Harvesters Kansas City, Helping Harvest, and the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, among others.

The recipients also included Grammy in the Schools, Education Through Music, Musical Mentors, After-School All-Stars in New York and Cleveland, MSK Kids, Hassenfeld Children's Hospital, and Children's Mercy Hospital.

Dolly Parton, who is one of the couple's $2 million Imagination Library recipients, posted a thank-you video to Instagram on July 3, 2026, the same day as the couple's wedding.

Swift and Kelce's donation took this already highly anticipated wedding to new heights. With 1,000 guests filling Madison Square Garden, the closest circle to the couple was still as tightly knit as they hoped.

Swift's brother, Austin, played the role of Taylor's Man of Honor, while Jason acted as Travis' Best Man. And of those in their inner circle, a surprising but quite appropriate choice expanded all the way to the altar.

Adam Sandler officiates Swift-Kelce wedding at MSG

According to USA Today, Kelce chose none other than Adam Sandler to officiate his wedding. Sandler’s inherent connection to the couple goes beyond Hollywood's randomness.

Sandler and Kelce met as cast members in the movie sequel, Happy Gilmore 2. Later on, Sandler also appeared in Kelce's New Heights podcast.

Sandler was supportive of Kelce and Swift from the get-go. His family is full of Swift fans, and the whole family went to the Swift Eras Tour in 2023, per People Magazine.

Sandler was not the only Hollywood star to attend the event. Celebrities like Gigi Hadid and Karlie Kloss, Benton Boone, and actor Bradley Cooper were also spotted at the Kelce-Swift wedding.
