The Buffalo Bills have already begun preparations for the 2026 season, but much of the focus remains on quarterback Josh Allen and whether he can finally lead the franchise to a Super Bowl.

Allen has not missed a single game since November 2018. This offseason, he underwent minor surgery on his right foot for an older injury and returned to full health ahead of OTAs and minicamp.

During an appearance on "The Arena" podcast, American columnist and commentator Skip Bayless predicted that Josh Allen will make his Super Bowl debut this year, and he hopes it is in a revenge game against the Denver Broncos.

"It's time for Josh Allen to get over the hump," said Bayless. "And I am hoping and praying that Buffalo winds up back at Denver in a playoff game. I'll bet two dinners on it right now if it happens because Josh Allen will wreak revenge if that happens in a playoff game.

Many analysts at The Arena pointed out that the Bills are among the favorite teams to be in the Super Bowl, especially after adding a few players to add depth on the defensive side of the ball, after looking weak defensively last season.

Allen has achieved almost everything except a Super Bowl title. He has been selected to the Pro Bowl four times and has collected NFL MVP awards. He is the fastest player in NFL history to record 300 total career touchdowns.

Allen will now hope to win a Super Bowl with the franchise after several major offseason additions. Despite the optimism around Buffalo, questions still remain about whether the Bills have given Allen enough help offensively.

Scout Believes Josh Allen Needs One Final Piece

The Bills' offense seems centered around Josh Allen, but in his mind, a solo glory for the Super Bowl is the last thing. Last September, he emphasized how he's threading the "delicate" line between having an experienced coach-like presence while connecting well with his younger teammates.

Allen, who has played with many young players this season, will look to form chemistry with the newly signed DJ Moore. During the OTAs, Allen and Moore trained together. After the training, Allen emphasized why his new teammate is one of the best wide receivers.

"He’s able to contort his body in different ways that I don’t think I’ve ever seen, and he’s not a small guy," Allen said to The Buffalo News. "He’s faster than you think, and he just kind of glides on people."

The Bills, who were in search of a passing attack every offseason, have finally found a reliable option to help Allen. While Moore could be the missing piece the Bills need, according to Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports, the Bills ranked 15th on the list of all QB support casts, and could make better signings.

"I'll never understand why they just don’t go out and get (Allen) a No. 1 receiver," a scout told Vacchiano, per Sporting News. "Put him with a top-10 guy, and who stops that team? He’ll break every record in the book."

As Josh Allen enters yet another season with Super Bowl expectations, Buffalo’s ability to build around him could define how far the team goes in 2026.
