Lamar Jackson's Weakness Exposed to 31 NFL Teams by Super Bowl Winner

A Super Bowl champion just put the NFL on notice. Charles Omenihu claims he knows the secret to stopping Lamar Jackson, revealing a key weakness that can be exploited under pressure.
During a Speakeasy segment, Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Charles Omenihu was asked which quarterback would win a Super Bowl first if Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen traded teams.
Omenihu ultimately sided with Allen, backing his choice with an explanation.
“Lamar, honestly, you bring a five-man rush on him and collapse that pocket, he's drifting backwards. Unfortunately, he might make a play that isn't going to be the best play for the Ravens,” he said, exposing Lamar's tendencies to all the other 31 NFL teams under pressure.
In the 2023 AFC Championship Game, Omenihu himself delivered a pivotal strip-sack on Jackson, allowing the Chiefs to build a two-score lead before halftime.
Omenihu later suffered a torn ACL in the same game on the next defensive snap.
Last season, this play under pressure was evident as Jackson posted an overall PFF grade of 74.0, while his passing grade was 69.0, ranking him 24th among quarterbacks. In the pocket, the QB also struggled as he ended the year with 36 sacks (2 fewer than his career-high).
In comparison to Josh Allen, Omenihu suggested that he’s the QB the league hasn’t figured out, pointing to his arm strength as a key reason, which Lamar lacks, making him even more transparent with his plays.
“I don't think Lamar has that big amount of arm strength like how Josh does," he further said. "Like I said, I think you figured out Lamar. You come after him, bro. You close all the lanes. You five-man rush him. And you cover his guys.”
Still, Omenihu believes Lamar has a trait that could help him succeed against other teams.
How Can Lamar Jackson Win Against Other Teams?
In the same segment, Charles Omenihu was asked which aspect of Lamar Jackson would prove to be the most intimidating, and he expressed confidence in him.
“Just the speed. Like, if you do let him out, he's gone. He's not going to fumble the ball,” the 28-year-old replied.
Even if the 2019 and 2023 MVP winners have room to improve, he has only recorded 56 interceptions in his eight years in the NFL.
With Charles Omenihu now with the Washington Commanders, any chance of squaring off against Lamar Jackson this season is off the table, meaning his words will have to stand on their own without an on-field showdown to back them up.
