Not everyone who chases an NFL career makes the roster, but plenty still carve out a path afterward, whether it's coaching, broadcasting, or business. Daejon Love took a different route entirely, and his story eventually caught the attention of former Eagles star Jason Kelce, who has now given his opinion.

Love allegedly spent years posing as an NFL player to con women out of money, and the story has since caught the attention of the football world. Kelce broke it down alongside Travis Kelce on the latest episode of New Heights and gave his advice about the situation. 

"I mean, we got to be smarter, women. I'm just going to put it out there. We got to be smarter." Jason Kelce said during the podcast. "We got to be able to sniff through this one. Because I'm telling you, this is what happened. Women are getting money now. They're moving up the job force."

The case came to light after he was arrested on August 24th at the Boise Airport in Idaho, alongside his 18-year-old accomplice Taylor Jamie Chan. Prosecutors say the 35-year-old spent years posing as a 49ers wide receiver to con women met through dating apps, allegedly walking away with $1.3 million from more than two dozen victims. 

While talking about the situation further on the New Heights podcast episode uploaded on September 2nd on YouTube, Jason Kelce further explained.

"They don't know that men have been getting defrauded with Ponzi schemes and women for a very long time. Man, I'll tell you, this is a tale as old as time for men to be fooled. You need to start as women; now that you're getting money, you need to understand there are pieces of s*** out there that will lie." 

With Love and Chan now facing federal charges, Kelce's comments have kept the story in the spotlight, serving as a cautionary tale for anyone navigating dating apps. 

However, that is not all that Jason Kelce discussed on the podcast. 

Jason Kelce calls out teams over practice clips

Chiefs training camp has given fans plenty to talk about, and Travis Kelce is a big reason why. A recent clip of him blowing past a defender has gone viral, fueling optimism that he can still deliver after a rough season. Not everyone's a fan, though, including his own brother. 

While talking about training camp in the aforementioned podcast, Jason Kelce expressed his frustration with the team's posting practice clips on social media. 

"I liked watching this because you're my brother and I thought it was great. I cannot stand when teams put these clips online. The Eagles do it too. And I love the Philadelphia Eagles."

Kelce further spoke about the same while giving an example of Jalen Carter to drive his point home. 

"And I love watching the clips, but they put out a clip of Jalen Carter beating the [expletive] out of a guy who's trying his hardest to make the team. It's like, dude, can we just let practice be its own thing? We don't need to show everything." 

Whether teams take note or not, Jason's stance is clear: some things are better left off social media.
