Amid the trade deal rows between the Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins, there is another trade deal being proposed for the Cowboys that will bolster Dak Prescott’s support on the gridiron.
According to Mark Powell of Fansided, the Dallas Cowboys could end up in a trade deal with the New Orleans Saints for running back Alvin Kamara to increase depth in the offensive lineup of the roster.
Per Powell, the deal could send Kamara to the Cowboys and a 2027 sixth-round pick (from PIT) to the Saints.

After missing their shot at the divisional title in 2025 with a 7-9-1 record, GM Jerry Jones is looking to increase the depth at the RB position and weapons other than their already outstanding receivers.
Under defensive coordinator Christian Parker, the Cowboys' defense is in a complete overhaul. But to restore their path to the Lombardi Trophy, they need an offense that will outshine their rivals.
Kamara can split time with Javonte Williams in the field, which will give both players adequate time for rest and fuel up for the next opportunity in the field.
In the last season, Kamara appeared in 11 games for the Saints and rushed for 471 yards. During the time, he scored one touchdown and made 131 attempts.
Similarly, he has maintained his contribution to the Saints since his draft back in 2017.
With his induction into the roster, Kamara could be the answer to the proven depth that they are looking to back up Williams, with Malik Davis and Jaydon Blue already at the depth.
But are the Saints really interested in the deal?
Saints Face Questions About Alvin Kamara’s Long-Term Future
According to Alvin Kamara, there is no bad blood between him and the New Orleans Saints’ front office.
A potential return to black and white cleats is also an option for him, per his agent.
"There hasn't been a lot of traction yet on the Saints' direction with Kamara, but there is some interest on potentially coming back there. Maybe they can do a revised deal," Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano of ESPN reported in early June.
Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano of ESPN also pitched a similar opinion, they believe that the 30-year-old RB would not like to become a burden on the young team like the Saints, as he is aware that he is getting old.
But his future with the Saints is under heavy uncertainty as they have already found his replacement in the name of Travis Etienne Jr.
Based on his unavailability in the last season, GM Mickey Loomis could target a sixth-round pick over a fifth for landing a deal with the Cowboys.
