New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart introduced President Donald Trump last week during a rally. However, due to this, he has been under constant scrutiny.
Giants OLB Abdul Carter gave his reaction via X, and this began speculation of a skirmish between the two. To put the latter to rest, Carter posted,
"Me & JD6 are good! We spoke earlier as Men. Y'all can keep y'all narratives," Carter posted on X on Saturday.
The X post that led to this was "Thought this s*** was AI, what we doing man," as reported by Yahoo Sports.
The post quickly sparked reactions across sports circles, with some even questioning whether it could create tension inside the Giants locker room. But Carter later tried to shut that down.

Carter was the No. 3 pick in the 2025 draft. Dart was 25th. Both were starters last season, Carter playing all 17 games at linebacker and Dart taking over at quarterback in the middle of the season.
Earlier on May 22, Dart said, "I'm grateful, I'm honored, and I'm pleased to introduce the 45th and 47th President of the United States of America, President Donald J. Trump," according to ESPN.
During the introduction, Trump also praised Dart heavily, calling him a “future Hall of Famer,” saying the young quarterback has “a lot of talent."
Breiden Fehoko Weighs In On Giants Drama
Former NFL tackle turned analyst Breiden Fehoko shared his views as well via X.
"Abdul Carter is an idiot. It doesn't matter what political beliefs you believe in; you don't call out a teammate publicly for his beliefs. Out of all people to talk to." Fehoko wrote on X.
Fehoko’s message was a part of a larger idea of team unity, as per Steelers Wire.
Fehoko argued the disagreement should have remained behind closed doors rather than playing out on social media.
The former Steelers defensive lineman, known for being outspoken, made it clear he felt Carter went too far by calling out Dart on social media.
The Giants now face the challenge of maintaining locker room unity as they navigate the fallout from the public exchange.
